Fiasco@Swensen's

Today had been a blast. It's the greatest day since the last couple of weeks. I went to Swensen's at Bugis together with Rekha, Sasi, Michelle, Gabe and Siti. Was sooooo funny!!! But I guess it's like a you-had-to-be-there kinda thing, you know. I had the breaded chicken as main course. It was yummy..very filling..haha..the rest had fish n chips and lamb chop. The lamb chop is deeeliciouss..sasi let me taste his..that greenish sauce that came with the chops was tangy and nice. BUT, this isn't the funny part. I tell you..I laughed sooo hard that I almost cried in pain. These two makciks..and I'm not referring to Siti, surprisingly..haha..Rekha and Michelle..they wanted to "kope" the long ice-cream spoons!! That's not all..they also looted the container for the tartar sauce!! For crying out loud!! It's the TARTAR SAUCE CONTAINER!!! Urghh...Rekha was like cleaning it with the serviette and Michelle was like all auntyish..god...the whole scene was just hilarious...Hahahah..And to top it all off, Michelle took the red cloth that's used for the cutlery basket and wrapped the three spoons in it..can you believe it?? Hahahah...

And then there was the Earthquake. Haha..You know how the Earthquake is accompanied by the dry ice thingy..where there's the smoky effect and all in the centre of the eight sinful scoops of different flavoured ice-cream..butterscotch, chocolate malt, almond choc, lime sherbert (according to gabe, it's pronounced sore-bay but according to rekha, it's shore-bert)..haha, and four more flavours I can't recall now..but it was YUMMAY! haha..so anyways, we were all taking scoops out of that huge bowl..then when it came down to like really melted down ice-cream, rekha took out the dry ice container, and went on to scrape off the remaining stains of cream on the bowl..haha..so typical if her..haha..but funny. Then being the playful lot..siti poured a wee bit of water onto the dry ice, and there were more fumes..and michelle, being the ever-fascinated, took a cup which was three quarters full and attempted to pour it in..haha..then we were like NNNNoooooo...she failed eventually. After hanging there for like almost two hours, we walked around bugis junction and the village opposite..went to look for the translucent shirt for gabe..haha..he looked great in it..but sadly, he didnt wanna buy it then..we'll be going back another time for that. After a while, Michelle and Siti left..The rest of us decided to visit Comex at Suntec. It was nothing much..Sasi wanted to get a webcam. I wanted to get new compact flash cards. Not bad..30 plus for 128MB. After looking around..left suntec around 9 plus..then went over to city hall cause we took the shuttle service which brought us to city hall mrt..then walked around there..tried this grilled chicken skewer thing..nice..then walked some more..then finally reached home at 11.15..what a day..haha.

The Penultimate Experience

Today will be the day before I officially end my service at Pizza Hut. Many people there are sad over my leaving. Stop it, you're making my guilt cells translate and transcribe (science students joke). It's not so easy for me too you know. Having been working there for four good whole months...hey come to think of it, I ACTUALLY worked there for FOUR PRECISE MONTHS..my first day of service was on the twenty second day of may. How cool is that? Coming back to what I was taking..It's not going to be an easy deal for me. Over the course of working there, I have met many people. Some great to be with. The many jokes..the many laughs..those great times...hhmmmm..Sarah, Dinah, Syidah, Cathy, Siti, Edward, Amos, Daniel, Jenny, Jasmine, Masyita, Ain, Iffah and Hazuru..These people made my working experience there fun and enjoyable. I shall never forget the day when Hazuru opened the rest room door only to find a rider with his pants down sitting on the toilet. That was the day when Sarah and myself annointed Hazuru as "The girl who saw THE THING" HAhahaha..That beats everything..we were laughing so hard till we teared. I really enjoy the company of my friends there. Despite all these fun and crazy moments, I still have to stay rooted to my decision. Guys, I will always reminisce the times I spent there.

The Week So Far...

Well well well..I realised that I have pretty much been a bad boy last week..I actually skipped proteomics. Not because I did not want to go on purpose. I overslept. Also, I skipped customer service communications on tuesday. Now...this one was because I did not feel like, and since I was "entitled" to absence for what, two days? Why not..Anyways, it's not as if the lesson is like fun or anything. It's pure boredom. Want a sneak preview? Just imagine yourself sitting in a dark room without any sound. Achieve that and you're almost there. That's how I zonk out in that lesson.
And talking about boredom, have I mentioned that I am aiming for a revolution? A change in structure that would only affect me personally. Hahah..guess only I would understand what I am saying, and that would suffice for now.
Band Main committee elections recently ended, but it's not the end for me though. Still have to be in Rondeau comm. Don't know how. I would be on attachment during the Rondeau period. Oct 25 tp Jan 28. Soo...might be a little hectic. Ooh..have I mentioned that I'm being attached to the National Cancer Center? Wonder what's in store for me there? Heard it's more projects..I hope not..fyp is enough to kill. Speaking about fyp, I'd be going back to sch (during study break urgh) to do project. Hope there's growth on my test sample plates..my control plates have growth already. Oh no, I should refrain from talking about project outside school hours. It's boring.

PERSIStance

PERSIS OVERTURE is one of the few songs I really love to listen and enjoy (and play too..heheh). The band played tried it on saturday. Not a bad try though. With more persistance (pun intended), we'll make it. Hahah..

Hmm...things at school: not going so well I must say. It's so hectic..projects, assigments, quizzes, presentations and stuff. It's just so, urgh..Who says third year is relaxing! My feet..I'm now writing a 100o+ word essay for Mindquest for Excellence. It's an IS module. Later have to complete Integrated Lab report..See my point? It's one after another..still have many more to come..hybridoma..lsss..wisp..argh...

Anyways, work today was boring..was actually supposed to end at 5 (I started at 12 nn). Instead, I left at 8pm. The manager extended my shift because somebody from the night shift could not come. Ended up helping Amos to do wash for 2 hours.

Concert and its aftermath

Finally! PNC is over!! The concert was great I guess. But not really great personally. It left me with a bout of flu and sore throat. Now I am feeling miserable. It was unexpected. Totally didn't see this coming at all. After seeing the doctor just now, and after consuming doses of Ponstan (for my throat inflammation); Chloropheniramine (for flu, its a anti-histamine) and Amoxycillin (antibiotics), I'm feeling better. The doc gave me two days MC. Not really sure whether I'd be going for classes tmr. IS day tmr..and I have work tmr too!! Aargh..Trying my best to find someone to replace me for tmr. Also found out that the quintet is on for that performance in IMM after Ma Rui called me just now..He said that we'd be practicing everyday till Saturday. Don't know how I'm gonna manage that, since it's kinda last minute..I thought Jefferson and Gerald were gonna perform there..but last minute, things changed..oh well..
